If you don’t love you, ain’t nobody gonna love you!
So, you decided to lose weight, lose fat, get heathier, more fit, etc, etc. The question is why and for whom? I made the mistake (years ago) of doing it for someone/something other than myself. Big ass mistake! Did I lose the weight? Yes, 100 pounds actually. But, after that reason for me losing the weight walked out of my life, 20+ pounds came back. At least I’ve held off the other 80!! Even personal trainers are imperfect. This is life. And life can be amazing, yet full of some hard ass knocks. 🙂
I can’t emphasize enough that you have to do this for YOU, and NO ONE else. You have to dig deep down, grab a hold of some of that self-love and make the decision to do this for you!
As much as you may want to believe that someone’s going to love you more if you’re more fit/thinner, it’s not happening. If someone doesn’t love you just the way you are, you don’t need them in your life.
So sit down, make a list of the “real” reasons you’re doing this. If something doesn’t fit or seem right, it’s probably not. One last piece of advice, stop hating your body. Start loving yourself. And if you get more fit in the process, GREAT!!
’til next time….
